About Tracie:
Tracie’s love of fashion and make-up started from as early as she can remember. Her first face model was her brother when he was 3 yrs old, when she was able to bribe him with being his best friend if he cooperated. Needless to say he hates that story! After that, she I continued doing make-up for my friends all through high school and college. As she began to realize that it was the thing that she loved, so did others around her. It was at that point that she began to focus her talents.
What she realized is that there was a way to combine the love of application she had found in her personal life with the knowledge that she had gained from her time in the Department store industry and from her brief time as a Mary Kay consultant. She melded all of the knowledge into her own stand alone business, “Make-up Artistry by Tracie”.
Make-up Artistry by Tracie has said some very significant milestones in the last two years. Tracie was invited to the White House’s Staff appreciation day and to work with the Washington Mystics (WNBA). Make-up Artistry by Tracie also received the great honor of being nominated and winning Northern Virginia Magazine’s BEST OF: Make-up Application Honor and being nominated and winning the Loudoun County 2008 Home Based Business of the Year.
Tracie believes in giving back to her community and volunteers for Soldiers Angels Foundation, Walter Reed, and is a speaker for the Arthritis Foundation. She also sits on the Wedding and Event Professional for South Asians board and co-chairs the Women in Business Alliance Committee at the Loudoun Chamber.
